Duty Station: Lira and Moroto, Uganda

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepares laboratory reagents, stains for routine investigations.
• Carries out basic laboratory tests and submits reports to clinicians.
• Manages and accounts for all allocated resources.
• Participates in quality assurance for laboratories.
• Services all equipment used regularly and follows safety measures against hazards.
• Requisitions for all necessary supplies for laboratory work and keeps record of stock.
• Adheres to code of conduct and Ethics.
• Participates in research activities.
• Compiles and submits periodic quality reports.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
• The candidate should possess a Certificate in Medical Laboratory Techniques or its equivalent from a recognized Institution;
• Must be licensed by the Allied Health Professionals Council;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the knowledge of local language is an added advantage
