Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manages and accounts for all allocated resources.
• Plays a supervisory role in the provision of nursing care.
• Submits timely requests for essential equipment’s and supplies.
• Ensures equipment is secure, functional and well maintained.
• Participates in research activities.
• Imparts knowledge and skills to the staff supervised.
• Ensures that staff adheres to Professional Code of Conduct and Ethics.
• Counsels Blood Donors before and after blood donations.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
• The applicant must be double trained at a Registered Level or its equivalent from a recognized institution;
• Member of the Nurses and Midwives Council and should have served at least three (3) years as a Nursing Officer.
• The ideal candidate should demonstrate flexibility to adapt to changing requirements and analytical skills
• Excellent people management skills and culturally sensitive.
